FOX VALLEYAIRES MENS BARBERSHOP CHORUS PUTS ON A GREAT SHOW!

ED GEIN THE MUSICAL
The controversial film by local filmmakers Dan Davies and Steve Russell will be shown at the Gerold Opera House. We had a great turnout for several screenings of this off the wall film. We are planning additioal screenings for Summer 2010.
Wega Arts PSYCHO EVENT an Enthusiastic Success!
On October 24th over 225 attendees celebrated Robert Bloch’s Psycho at the Opera House. In1959 while living in Weyauwega, Robert Bloch penned the thriller PSYCHO. Bloch was inspired by early stories of the Ed Gein murders 30 miles away in Plainfield. In 1960 Alfred Hitchcock released the movie based on Bloch's book. For the 50th anniversary of the publication of the book, WEGA ARTS hosted a dinner and showing of the movie. Read more...

Old Time Radio Show

The talented cast of WEGA Radio recreated the sights and sounds of an old fashioned radio show. WEGA Radio presented classic stories such as 'Lights Out', 'Baby Snooks' and 'Helen Trent'. A new show of all original scripts is planned for the near future.

Art Club at the Opera House

Art Show Featuring Black and White Photography
Perceptions Framed: The eye of the photographer. Featuring traditional black and white photography. New York photographer Stella Snead and local photographer Patricia Sprenger. Supported in part by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts. Hundreds Haunted at Opera House!
We had a great turnout for our first haunted house. The Art Club kids did a great job of building props and costumes and planning the entire event. The kids were also very spooky as the ghosts and zombies!
